Orthotic Repairs and Modifications

Foot orthoses should be reviewed at 12-18 month intervals especially in children and athletes. Children inevitably will grow out of their orthotics and a good indicator is when they have increased up 2 sizes, orthotic use will often become irritable and painful as the devices will no longer be contouring to their foot shape.

For adults often small adjustments are required to help maintain the loading pattern of your feet.  New top covers, wedges and paddings should also be updated to help with shoe fitting and maintaining the integrity of the orthoses.
